Forest Hands - Climate Anxiety
The “Forest Hands” were inspired by a doodle I created while interning at the United Nations Environmental Program. Working with international communities trying to find solutions to deforestation and land degradation was a fascinating but devastating subject that left me feeling furious at the misuse of our resources. During one of my lunch hours, I remember doodled a photo of mother nature giving us a big middle finger. The image is meant to show a personification of a tree being cut down by an ant (a metaphor for human beings), while the veins of the hand acted as the roots of the trees....
Wasteland Climate Anxiety
This is by far one of the coolest things I have been a part of since moving to Victoria. This project came to life in less than 3 weeks, I am blown away. It's a pre-demolition house turned pop-up experimental art exhibition, all themed around climate anxiety. Over 30 local artists of all kinds, and I AM ONE OF THEM! This project has been getting some press and can be seen in multiple news outlets, including CTV news! I worked with 3 other artists to create the Forest Fire room on the second floor. You can read my bio on the Wasteland Climate...

To match the theme of...
Time Nomads Goes to Otherworld - Regional Burn

I have never been at a more present event surrounded by the whimsiest of people and filled with eternal gratitude. Thanks for the love and inspiration ❤️❤️. None fo this could have happened without the support of Kindle Arts Grant who awarded me with a grant to bring Time Nomads to IMBY (In My Back Yard) and Otherworld 2019. About I.M.B.Y and Otherworld: I.M.B.Y (In My Backyard) is a one day, free, participatory, public arts event in downtown Victoria at Centennial Square on May 5, 2019. This event takes place on...
